8 Celebrity Tips for A Youthful Glow

Have you ever wondered how Beyonce, Jennifer Aniston and Gwen Stefani seem to defy all logic when it comes to aging? What ARE their secrets to timeless, flawless beauty? We’ve found their Fountain of Youth and we're here to share it!

1. Drink water and lots of it

Doctors recommend that the average woman should drink at least 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of water each day. If Queen Bey can make time to drink over 3 liters a day, so can you!

2. Moisturizer is a must

There are fantastic moisturizers on the market for every skin type and it’s important to choose the right one for your own beautiful face. Jennifer Aniston loves this tinted moisturizer from Laura Mercer.

3. Use sunscreen religiously

Gwen is such a fair-skinned beauty and her complexion is flawless; not only does she swear by the use of sunscreen, but she covers up as much as possible by carrying cute parasols and wearing trendy hats when out and about! Staying protected from the harsh elements of the sun will keep your skin healthy and spot free.

4. Don’t skimp on beauty rest

Not getting enough sleep can decrease the moisture levels in your skin and lower the pH level, which results in dull and tired-looking skin. It’s hard to believe, but Beyonce tries to get into bed by 10 or 11 pm most nights and she’s managed to build an entire empire.

5. Consider the air around you

Depending on where you live, your air can be dry and that wreaks havoc on your skin – a portable humidifier can add a little bit of moisture back into the air.

6. Exercise, exercise, exercise!

When you sweat, trapped oil and other gross stuff is pushed out of your pores and wiped away. Just don’t forget to clean your skin afterward! Plus, have you SEEN Gwen’s abs?

7. Clean your face properly

Cleansers are designed to get into your pores and lift oil out, but only if you give them enough time to work. One of our favorite products is the Cora 3 Facial Brush. Wash your hands first and apply your cleanser to your face and then gently run the Cora brush over your face in circular motions for about 60 seconds. Rinse your face with warm (not hot!) water and you’re done.

8. Use a facial serum

Creams and lotions are great, but serums are much more concentrated and a little goes a long, long way! Best of all, there is a serum for almost any skin problem! Elle Magazine listed 14 of the best facial serums here
